Many times I have been asked this question on quora. How do I spend my day, and how do I make most out of it?
Today, I will give you the detailed information about how to create your life around the core, so that you can make most out of your day.
You must have heard this before, “Clarity precedes mastery”. You have to have absolute clarity about how your day should unfold. I can understand that not everything goes by the plans, but as you develop the clarity about your day, you can always stick around the core and make most out of your day.
For me the thing that is very important throughout the day is happiness, and the energy. You have to be happy at every hour of the day and no moment of your life should keep you sad or with a low energy.
I keep in check of these two things. Either I do things that I am enjoying it, or else I figured out the way to enjoy things that I don’t like but still it’s important to be done.
To get the clarity out of the day, I start my day with meditation. I spend 45 minutes in meditation. Now the practice of meditation can be done in different ways.
TO GET THE CLARITY OF THE DAY, START YOUR DAY WITH MEDITATION. EXPLORE YOUR IMAGINATION AND GET HOLD OF YOUR DAY.
Either you get detached yourself from life and keep your mind cool and calm during meditation, or you can expand your imagination and see how your day and life unfolds. In both the cases one thing to be kept in mind and that is to be mindful of the activities that you undergo while practicing meditation.
So it’s you decide whether you are exploring life through imagination or you detach yourself from the mind and experience silence.
One thing I forgot to mention, I am a tea lover. I start my day with the tea. I have heard about the benefits of the hot water and a lemon, and it’s on my list. As of now, I am enjoying my tea-process. I told you about happiness. The morning tea makes me happy. I spend usually half an hour, gazing at the empty sky and sipping my tea. I just love the process. It makes me happy.
During the whole day, I do small things that keep me happy. These small things keep you going and you enjoy the daily process of life.
The practice of meditation gives me clarity around life. If the things are not clear in your head, it can be a big mess to handle. Once you clear the day, first thing in the morning, you know where to focus upon whole day.
After meditation, I exercise.
I like outdoor activities, so for exercise, I usually prefer walk or running. During lockdown, we don’t have a space to run, so at-least I choose to walk for 45 minutes.
This is the period of learning as well. You know; if things are not moving in any direction, make sure you learn.
Whether your relationship or your business, or something else, you will find the answers if you keep on scratching for it. Don’t give up. Look for it everywhere for the solution.
Just type your query to the google and you will have multiple solutions. Read them all, unless you receive the solution for your problem.
Not necessary, you will have the solution from the google, but you might find the solution within.
Knowledge and learning has been the core part of my life ever since I have consciously engaged into life, to make everything better.
While exercising, I choose to play an audio and learn something that interests me and often I receive an idea out of it. Many times I like to listen to the music.
I AM A FLEXIBLE GUY AND I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF GOD. I LIVE IN THE STATE OF SURRENDER; MEANWHILE I ALSO DON’T MISS TO DO MY PART OF WORK.
I meditate to receive the signs that guide me throughout the day.
I don’t tell myself; rather I wait for the life to respond. I have a broader picture for myself, but then I also rely more on the intuition.
After exercise and learning, next thing which is very important is energy, i.e. your breakfast. Slowly and steadily start developing healthy food habits. If you really wanted to make shift in your life, there is no other way than your food habits.
Even if you do all the things right, but don’t have a healthy food habit, sooner or later you will be out of the game. It’s that Important.
After breakfast comes work. I love what I do. How do I evaluate that? I have a different mechanism to evaluate that.
I asked myself. What if I had an access to everything that I want, what I would be doing today, in terms of work?
The answer is what I am doing right now.
The point is, find something that you enjoy doing, and if you can’t than figure out the ways to enjoy doing things that you don’t like. Either ways, happiness is the key.
At work front I like to try new things. I am not afraid of losses or failure but I am afraid of boredom. I am afraid of repetitions. It keeps the work alive. I push myself very rare. Most of the time, I enjoy the work, and if things feel like dull, I take some energy drinks or do something else for some time.
Along with the work, you have to have great relationships within your family. It has a direct impact on your work. If you are deeply connected with your family, you will create more at your work front. Find out more reason to love than to hate. Find out more reason to embrace than to exclude. Create unity within and it will show up in every aspect of your life.
The reason it’s important to share this, is because you have to build strong relationships within your family. It will require conscious effort. It won’t happen on its own; rather you have to build it consciously by pouring your time and energy into it.
Throughout the day, the thing that needs to be keeping in mind is that there should be nowhere a leak of energy.
When I practice meditation what I tell myself is I am building life and I have to work today to build the life of my choice. You have to expand your imagination. Your mind should perceive how your life should unfold. You may not receive the clarity on the first day. But if you consciously look into your life, you will have a clear idea of, how your life should unfold.
When you have clarity around the day, you also make sure to keep in mind that there is no energy leak throughout the day.
NOW A DAYS, ENERGY LEAK IS A BIG PROBLEM. YOU MAY SET UP YOUR DAY POSITIVELY, BUT AS THE DAY PROCEED THERE ARE THINGS THAT START DRAINING YOUR ENERGY. STAY CONSCIOUS OF YOUR ENERGY LEAKS.
What is energy leak?
You have to be conscious enough of your energy throughout the day. You won’t be watching anything or getting engaged into things that will drain your energy. Whether it’s a fighting or an argument with the other person. Your mind should stay around the core. Remember it’s not about the other person, it’s about you. You have committed yourself to build the life of your dreams. You have committed yourself to stick to your core.
It won’t only eat your energy but also your time. Later you will forget what you were up to, and your energy will spend on the things that will produce no result whatsoever.
Next thing you have to be careful about is filling yourself with the energy time to time throughout the day. This again is very important.
This will keep you away from the fatigue and you will be charged up throughout the day to get your work done. Your mind and body is science. It’s the energy that lifts you up and it’s the energy that puts you down. You have to understand the energy level of your body and act accordingly.

How your day unfolds is your responsibility and slowly and steadily you have to take control of your day. I am not saying you control outside activities, but at least you should have the control of your actions. More you will develop control of yourself, more you will observe that the outside situations and circumstances are in your control.
Throughout the day, figure out the core activities that you can’t avoid.
For me, its morning meditation, exercise, breakfast, work, family time. These are few core activities around which I plan my whole day. My life revolves around these core activities.
What happens when you identify your core activities?
You always remain on the path. Even if the life situations demand you to get off the path, you can always come back to the path, if the core activities are clear to your mind. You have to build your life around the core activities.
Core activities are the activity that adds quality to your life. Success and failure are just the relative term. When you build your life around the core, you rise above the mundane perspective and experience life altogether from a heightened perspective.
